When my kids went to school, I did the gym thing until my job kept getting in the way and it fell to the wayside. Now, I go a couple times a week, just to keep myself limber. I've talked about going to a pool, and I really think I need to get it done and stop talking about it.
I'm terrified of heights, there's no way Everest would be on my radar either.
Choosing how we interact in this world is key, but getting people to look at the bigger picture of how their actions affects others shouldn't be difficult but sadly it is.
Everything you discussed sounds perfect to me and just like you I would want everything trimmed. My husband does the same as your husband, it looks natural. Vic and I have been together 22 years and I wonder the same thing some days.

It is hard when it's time for our dogs to cross over the Rainbow Bridge. I lost my 'heart' dog two years ago and I still miss him.
I now have a rescue dog. We've only been together for one month but she is a lovely girl and I think we are both happy with each other. I can give her all the love I gave my heart dog. Ruby my new dog has a sad story from her past and so it's lovely to watch her settling in and become to trust me.
Before I had Ruby I used to do a lot of dog sitting for people in my local area I found that really helpful when I lost my dog Nacho.
I wish you all the best.
Sorry about your dog's passing.
I can see your husband's point, which corresponds to mine with the passing of my cat. I guess you could get another dog if, ahead of time, you could guarantee a family member or a friend to take the dog, when and if you can't care for it.
In my case, anyone I know who lives around has a dog and no one wants a cat. In a dog's case, I would probably get luckier.

JACE Thanks for commenting on my blog. You’re right, we’re quite lost, just the two of us without a four-legged companion. I’m sure we’ll find the right one for us soon.
What about making provisions for someone taking the dog should something happen to both of you? It seems sad to not share the love you obviously have for your pet.
Things have progressed well in your town/city with the Pandemic. So well that you've been allowed to return to the office instead of working from home. Your co-worker Karly, is sneezing and coughing and refuses to wear a mask. Who do you call, or do you let it slide. Tell us why you would act that way.
It’s one of my pet hates. People who come to work with a cold or flu are the most selfish people I know. I refuse to be around with someone who is coughing and sneezing. I would tell the boss that a co worker was spreading disease throughout the office and if the person with the cold doesn’t go home then I expect the boss to allow me to leave.
