Lest you think me crazy, sitting beside my wife in our living room, I remarked on a commercial I saw on the TV. Next thing I knew, my Facebook feed was blowing on with ads on that very subject. Seriously!

I don't believe in "little green men", but I do believe in their wicked marketing abilities.

Here's to a quick recovery.

I'm happy because it's raining again. It's the wettest November on record for Las Vegas at least that's what the new broadcaster is saying. I'm happy because Sailor, my granddaughter's kitten let me sleep in to 5:45 am. My granddaughter and daughter are in California at Disney. Tomorrow along with 100 other dancers from her dance studio are performing in Disney's holiday parade. I'm babysitting the three cats and 4 mice.

All great questions, I'm not her fan either. I believe Harry should remove everything that came from the royals, including Diana's diamonds from her and put them in safe keeping for his children before she sells them for profit.

Unfortunately, it seems to me. this will take a much longer time if it will ever reverse or even up.
I've seen women in my own family or outside of it who both worked outside and inside the home, while the men didn't lift a finger. Even those who tried to help, did it gloatingly. I'm not blaming the men; I'm blaming the situation and mindset.
Unless this mindset is changed for everyone, our human existence will suffer from being one-sided.

And yes, I know about the poppies. and I think it is a wonderful tribute to those who sacrificed so much, through the image of a beautiful flower with deep meaning.
Btw, I was born in 1943, a year before you.

Our library offers language classes for immigrant parents as well as financial education.
There's tutoring for all ages at the library. There's computer classes. There's story time for the younger ones.
I love the monthly puppet shows; they teach children how to use the marionettes and then they do a monthly performance.

New Term

School holidays are over! Yeah! kids are back to school after nearly three weeks of combined end of term one, Easter holidays, Anzac Day long weekend. Granddaughter number one is pleased as three of the children are at school. Granddaughter number two is a Drama teacher at high school and they have been rehearsing every day in the holidays for their up coming theatre production of Oliver, so she never seems to get holidays. She loves her job though so I expect it’s not like a job to her.
So everything starts again, Choir is back, my favourite day of the week. We’ve been singing our hearts out this afternoon.
Creative writing starts on Friday morning after the break. I’m hoping we get some new faces for a new term.
Weather till beautiful but evenings are getting cool. We are lighting our fire in the evening now. We feel the cold after thirtyplus temperatures for over six months
