Love hate


I don't want to hate
No, I don't.
When has the beloved
become the much hated?

Attachment when crossed
limits turns to possessiveness.
Ruled by it, bitter turns the mind
Thoughts evil, conjure malice.

I set to conquer the insidious
by diverting thoughts injurious
to the good and pleasant
by words and deeds not vehement.
