Only My Scriptwriting

As my title and description above read, this journal is all about my scriptwriting projects. I’m working on two of them right now. Water Wars is the one I’m working on at work. The Problems with Death The Final Ritual is the project that I’m doing at home. But they aren’t the only ones that I’m going to be creating here on WDC. They are just the ones I’m doing right now.

I have at least a million scripts within my head. And I’m not exaggerating about that. All I need to do is write them. Which I plan on doing. At least I will do as many as I can. I know that I can’t do them all. Not even a computer could do that. But that isn’t going to stop me from trying to do it.

So far, I’m in the planning stages for both projects. I’m almost finished with the single sentences for my Water Wars Outlines and Treatments. Once I get them done, I’m going to start working on the single paragraphs for them. Which is a lot more time-consuming. Especially, when it comes to the three Treatments.

My The Problems with Death The Final Ritual project is a little bit different, though. I’m still in the spreadsheet planning stage with it. This means I still have a very long way to go on it. Why am I writing all this here? It’s because I wanted to try to explain why you may not see them being created for quite a while.

You will practically know all about them because of these blog entries. But you won’t be able to see the final projects anytime soon. It’s going to be several months before I start creating them. And that’s if I do them when I get them done. Aka the Outlines first, then the Treatments when I get them done, and finally the completed scripts. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do them separately or all at once. But I will probably do them separately.

I sometimes go from easiest to hardest.

Today, I read, scribbled, wrote a drabble, journaled, blogged. By evening I tackled researching my next trip. Once that's done, I hope to be unblocked so I can tackle the other necessary chores.

Things get done albeit slowly at times.

At least you discovered this before it became a serious issue. You'll be fine, you'll do well. And remember - you're not alone. There are people with diabetes everywhere, including, I am sure, on WdC.

Formatting... when I self-published my book I only made a couple mistakes; but, that's because I went over and over and... you know that tune.

Thanks for your comments Kare Enga TH Udon Thani. Yes, Topeka still has a bus system. So does Lawrence. Unfortunately, they aren't connected. And I work in Lawrence. but I live in Topeka.

supposedly, the company that I work for doesn't have any shifts available in Topeka. If they did, I probably could take the buses. No matter what shift I was on.

Topeka... there's a bus system. Can you use that? Or find another ride? At least there was a bus system when I lived in Lawrence; but, I walked a lot. Great bus system in Missoula now that it runs later and on Sundays. I'd love to be back in Kansas but there's very little public transportation.

In Udon Thani, Thailand there are 'buses' but many people have mo-peds and moto-cys. Folks don't walk. I do. Grab (like Uber) is preferred by many. We don't have a car.

Since I just vomit on the page and then clean up later (and don't write scripts), I can't comment on your writing process. Only note... is there a different way you could try for a while that may work better for you?

I'm having issues with my LeNovo chromebook. The screen jumps around and even shifts or closes tabs. I lost about 300 words a couple days ago and I haven't gotten back to writing. At least, I remember the basic premise. I've considered writing everything by hand.

Glad to hear that you were able to resolve the problem.

My journal has over 5,000 handwritten pages. If I could scan and save? Priceless.

If I could go from cursive to text that would solve some issues. I could then use an on-line translator for a rough translation.
