I agree that not all criticism is beneficial. However, it may be the individual receiving the criticism that does have the problem. I look at it this way: Take it for what it might give you, which could be nothing. Don't take it to0 personal but remember what is being critiqued. Sometimes (I have done this) we take the words to seem mean, harsh but I now try to find or see the other person's side of it. We take good news easier than we do bad news. It is hard to accept that we might need to hear a person's point of view on our work or comments. Keep a open mind; can't hurt.

Writing wise? In 2025, I fleshed out my WIP, Gifts, and really filled in the middle part of the novella. Now, I just have to write the last chapters. The challenge is finding the time.

The Saddest Moment

The Last thing that we want,
The appearance of that demon.
That demon needed a human child's heart at lunch.
We contacted the Magician
For the security of our children.
He gave us the word to protect them.
Despite those, the dirty scent of that demon is coming nearer every second.
We did wrong; we didn't make a prayer to God, so we went to destroy.
