I'm gkad your knee is healing good. 6 year old self can be a handful but also a lot of fun. If she is a restless sleeper you might want to check for sleep apnea. I do hope you were talking about a child..lol..if not disregard e everything i said about kids!
I guess the hardest part is actually "pulling the trigger". I wish you well with your new endeavors. I would have a hard time giving up my yarn and sewing machine and all the goodies that go with that. LOL...oh, and books...yikes! Maybe you will figure it all out. I would need "knee friendly" steps myself. Onward with the adventures!
Yes, stairs and knees. Tough partnership. My brother recently got his knee replaced. It feels much better now, but he still needs the other one replaced. I tell him not to forget he only has one knee as of now. Stairs are not his friend.
But it is good you got that knee replaced. And, that younger roommate can be very supportive to have on those walks.
Welcome to the Bard's Blogging Contest! Sounds like it's the right time to retire. I keep forgetting to take advantage of my senior discounts. I think its because I look 47 and not 57. Sigh... I did get the senior discount for my Catalina trip.
You MUST take care of the books! (I'm a sucker for a good book!) Tupperware is awesome. I still have some from when I bought it in 1986. It's like a Toyota. Have you considered getting a storage unit or is that impractical? Lots of decisions coming up...
