| Old Crow Old crow takes the pulpit cold stone in the noontime shade croaks out a last eulogy uncaring of departed souls but mindful of how brief is life. Church bell tolls from far away and crow takes flight with lazy wing low upon the sunbright field. | Crowds Smiling faces to the sun are lifted from the dark fields of bright-eyed daisies to the day their hopes unfold each morning with the rebirth dawn and misty night forgot. So children of the earth renewed announce their happy tale in floral mimicry of struggles thine and mine we creatures formed of dust and dew and drawn toward the light.
