Well, it was a difficult decision as there were a number of interesting, scary, and thought provoking entries. As one of the judges, I (Crickado) like to print out the stories and read them at my leisure. This year, that would have meant printing out nearly 100 pages of text. Thank goodness I learned how to print in booklet format so I could print 4 pages on one sheet of paper. Meaning, I only printed 25 pages and saved a tree. I mention this because I had a pretty nifty little horror catalog to tote around the days leading up to Halloween. I marked notes in the borders and I was able to read while riding on a plane, while eating breakfast, and at night before bed. A few co-workers ended up taking time to read some of your stories as I had the booklet lying around the office. So, thank you to all the contestants for giving me the gift of spooky entertainment this Halloween season. I greatly appreciated it.
