ONE quote plus ONE poetry form equals ONE Poem

It's simple really,  choose one of the quotes and create a new poem.  See, easy....right?

READ CAREFULLY!

*Note2*  The contest begins Sunday, July  20th and ends Sunday, July 27th at 12 MIDNIGHT Writing.com Time

*Note3*  Choose one of the quotes below and weave it into a poem.
*Bullet*  The complete quote may not be used as a stanza.
*Bullet*  The quote is to be cut into stanzas.
*Bullet*  Each stanza must contain no less than three words from the quote per stanza.
*Bullet*  Only one quote cut per stanza.
*Bullet*  The quote cuts do not have to start the stanza but they are to remain as
                 recognizable cuts from the quote.
*Bullet*  Every stanza must contain a quote cut.
*Bullet*  Quote cuts may not be repeated once used.
*Bullet*  The cuts can not stand alone as stanzas.
*Bullet*  See the example below (bold is just for illustration only):

"Of all the words of tongue and pen
The saddest are 'It might have been.' "  Whittier

         Of all the words
         We should have said
         We did not
         Deftly sidestepping emotion
         Refusing to discern the obvious.

         Of tongue and pen
         Wielded with ironic precision
         Crafting clever bon mons
         Eyes refusing to see
         What hearts knew.

         The saddest are words unspoken
         Except in amorphous realms
         Each knowing but not wanting
         Trusting but not venturing forth.

         It might have been
         So many things
         Or nothing
         Held tightly in hearts
         Well protected.

*Note2*  The poem may not contain more than five stanzas.  Each stanza may not contain more than seven lines.
