A flash fiction contest, running fom February 21 through midnight February 27.
Write a story using 500 words or less using the following prompt:|
With silent distinction she crossed the intersection in front of a multitude of cars, her dress billowing in the wind and wispy white hair streaming.
You may use this prompt as a starting point, or at any other appropriate place within the item you intend to submit. Please proofread your work, check for spelling and grammatical errors as well as redundancy. You may continue to revise your submission until February 27 at midnight. I expect to see your "best" work. (My preference is that every item submitted be E-rated so that everyone can review your work without hesitation. If that is a "stretch" for you, then please allow yourself to be "stretched.")
Please use bitem format to post:
This contest is limited to the first 20 entries/submissions -- first come, first served. I look forward to reviewing your submission. Have fun!
There will be one winner, and he/she will receive a merit badge and an awardicon. However, the first twenty entries will each receive 200 GPs for participating. I will begin reviewing your work on February 28.
