 |  A contest that comes out of the fog now & then, as if in a dream. |
  Out of the Fog, Dream Contest } ****As if coming from a fog out of nowhere, so too, does this contest.  ****The contest is quite simple. I want to hear your dreams. Not just the run of the mill dreams, where you only remember bits and pieces. I want the dreams that have made an impact on your life. The dreams that you remember the most. I want them presented neatly: short story, prose, poetry, essay style or you may just relay the dream--but if you do, please make sure it's easily followed. Sometimes there may be prompts that are genre-based. There will also be times I decide on a certain form only. So make sure you check the prompt area, carefully!   Here's an example of a dream I had. I posted it in my port a couple of years back:
RULES -- I know, I know. But after all, what's a contest without rules    You may enter old or new entries. If there is a prompt, please make sure your entry follows the prompt. Awarded items are also allowed. You may enter ONLY one dream per contest round. You may edit your post after your submission. But please know that I may judge it as soon as you enter, so the edited version may not be the one I judge. I will not go back and re-judge once it's already been so. Weave your dream into a Short Story, prose, poetry or essay. Do not go over 2000 Words! Poetry should not exceed 50 lines (unless otherwise stated in the prompt section). All forms of poetry are allowed unless otherwise stated. Rating may go up to 18+. I do not mind a bit of sex if done in the context of the dream. Cussing is fine also, as long as that's not all it is. I DO NOT ALLOW G-Damn, so please respect me on that. If I see that word, I'll give you one chance to take it out. If you don't want to do so, it will be disqualified.
