Newbie's First Birthday Raffle - CLOSED

A newbie-focused raffle! All welcome!

By now, people may have noticed that I tend to be newbie-centric. I can't help that. Some of my favorite people are newbies! This may be WDC's 14th Birthday, but for many of my close friends (and some of yours too, I'm sure), this is their very first WDC Birthday Celebration! Let's make it special for them!

This raffle is a little different than other raffles. I will keep this as simple as I can for all of my newer friends out there.

Begins September 1! Sales end at noon September 14, and drawings will begin soon after.

Anyone who joined after August 1 2013 is considered a "newbie" for the purpose of this raffle.

Two ways to get tickets:

Buy 1 Newbies-Only raffle ticket for 250 gp
Must be for someone who has been here 1 yr or less.

Buy 10 newbie raffle tickets at one time and get an Extra raffle ticket for yourself OR a non-newbie friend.
Non-newbies can receive these!

The Drawings:

One Newbies-Only Drawings -- Only people who are celebrating their first WDC Birthday will be entered. To spread the love, there will be a 15%, 10%, and 5% drawing.

One Extras-Only Drawing -- Only those who receive "extra" tickets for buying 10 or more at once will be entered. Fewer tickets mean a greater chance to win!

Splitting the Pot:

40% "The Newbie Research Center" to fund the "Newbie Portfolio Project" and other projects.
15% "Newbie Welcome Wagon"
30% Newbies-Only Drawings
15% Extras-Only Drawing

There will be drawings for some other gifts and prizes along the way as well.

I know that this is not the most conventional raffle out there, and there may be a possibility that it wont make much gp. It's worth it though to make more new people's first WDC Celebration a happy one!

Donations to the pot or for extra prizes are welcome as well.

NOTE: I will not be emailing every ticket recipient because I find it annoying to get tagged twice and then emailed on top of that. Besides, why not let it be a surprise if the person doesn't happen to notice the forum post?
