No Dialogue Contest

PLEASE READ FIRST

1. Post your fiction STORY in bitem format OR as a book entry. No poems, please.

2. Story must be 700 words or less and contain NO DIALOGUE or inner dialogue. Please include the word count in your post.
3. One entry per person.
4. Stories must be newly written.
5. Stories may be edited, but please understand that we may read them before you make the edit.
6. Entries are allowed up until 11:59 p.m. on September 7, 2023.
7. Any rating is allowed up to 18+

Spelling and grammar are two things I look for in writing,
so make sure you spellcheck and edit as necessary prior to submitting.

Your submission will be judged on Characterization, Plot, Mechanics, Story, Description, and Literary Devices.


Your entry may or may not be reviewed. It depends on how much the judges have going on. They may not be able to review every entry.

1st Place ~ 25K Commissioned No Dialogue Contest Ribbon
2nd Place ~5000 GPS + No Dialogue Merit Badge
3rd Place ~ 3000 gps
Honorable Mention ~ 1500 gps

If there are fewer than 5 entries, only First place will be awarded. If there are fewer than 8, only First and Second will be awarded.
Honorable mentions may be given at the judges' discretion.
