As a parent, I know how tough it is to raise a child or adult with Autism. I'm still learning about Autism and I realize, I'm not the only parent who has the problems. I want to raise awareness in this community, so we can learn how to be kind and be patient with them. You are entitled to have an opinion but please be tactful.
The contest will begin on the 1st of each month and end on the 25th of each month at 12am WDC Time. The rules are simple so if you don't understand something, please contact me.
Please write about your adult child or child and post it here in the forum, so I can post it. I will post who the winner is on here at the end of each month.
Here are a few things to keep in mind while you're here:
Please be kind and patient because I won't tolerate any attitude.
You must post b-item, so I can post it in the forum.
The content has to be no higher than 18+.
You're story has to be 2000 or less, please!
You're short story has to be new each time.
You're poem has to be new each round.
The poem has to be 60 lines or less.
The winner of the short story contest will receive a 10K ribbon for their item.
The winner of the poetry contest will receive a 10K ribbon for their item.
The first runner up for each contest will receive a Lighthouse at Sunset or Border Collie Merit Badge
The second runner up for each contest will receive 1000 GPs
The third runner up for each contest will receive 500 GPs
As always, GP donations are gratefully accepted. Therefore, anyone who donates 50,000 GPs to Hope For Autism Funds will receive a merit badge.

If you win, you will get a Border Collie Merit Badge for your best poem or short story and a 10K Awardicon. I will do my best to make it fun but just remember, I'm doing this for all of us and get to know each other as parents with mild, moderate or severe kids and adults who are on the spectrum. either way, it will be a great way to get to know each other.
