Can you create a wicked good story & a word search to go with it?
Your challenge is to write a story based on one or more of the merit badges shown above THEN pick 25 keywords from your story and create a word search!
You may choose Deadly Betrayal, Deadly Success and/or Deadly Sins
For the story portion of your challenge, stories should be between 200-500 words in length. They should reflect one or more of the spotlighted merit badges and they should be rated 18+ but may NOT contain animal cruelty, excessively vulgar language or explicit sexual content.
Each story entry MUST also include a word search with 25 keywords from your story. The link to your word search should be in bitem format and be placed either at the top or bottom of your story. Stories without a word search linked at the top or bottom will be disqualified.
***Please be sure to BOLD and highlight your keywords in your story a different color so they are very easily seen***
Judging Stories will be judged on the following criteria:
Presentation & Style
Adherence to the guidelines
Over all creativity & originality
Judging All Word Searches will be judged on the following:
Uniqueness of keywords
Introduction written for the word search
Image used for the cover photo
Deadline: You will have until October 25th to submit your entries. Winners will be announced on October 31st on Halloween! DEADLINE EXTENSION!! NEW DEADLINE OCTOBER 30 by 8PM!
You will simply submit your entry bellow in item or bitem format. Have them posted by midnight October 25th WDC time.
Winners will be awarded their choice of exclusive Deadly merit badges and will also win gift certificates to their choice of WDC shops, an awardicon ribbon and/or other mystery gifts! You won't want to miss out!

To create a wordsearch, please click on "create item" in your portfolio. Then, under FREE Basic Membership, look for the WORDSEARCH feature and click on it. Follow the directions/steps as provided. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
