There is nothing grander than to be recognized for your writing. Do you remember the first day you joined the site and saw that awesome grey case and how excited you were to get started on your writing career?
So you got busy and wrote your first item. Oh, how proud you were when you clicked on your port to look at your new item. But wait what's this, your case turned to black.

That was certainly exciting and motivational, too. You learn more about the site and find that your muse is keeping you so busy that your port becomes filled with items, and members are stopping by to let you know just how much they have enjoyed reading your work. You eagerly click on your port each day, but today your case is yellow. Is your port sick? Gosh no!
Congratulations, you have just become a Preferred Author
There is just no stopping you now. You become engrossed in the site and all who enter. Your port grows, and members look to you for encouragement and handy hints. As each day passes, you write more and more, until you get lost in your own port. You bask in the sunlight of your yellow case, and suddenly you realize it has turned blue. Is your port sad? Certainly not!
Congratulations, you have just become a Moderator
Suddenly, you feel as if you know nothing and everything is new about the site. You have a whole new set of lessons to be learned, and activities to partake in. You find that your knowledge of the site grows, and your participation becomes compulsory as your addiction demands it. You become a resource of knowledge in writing and writing.com, and you're content to go on your merry way. And just when you think there is nothing more that could surprise you, your port case transforms into purple.
Congratulations you have just become a member of The Senior Mod Squad
