While I love SM and SMs, is there a chance that a convention could be done without their attendance? We had a lot of mods and sr mods, and we'll have a lot more experience by then. Maybe we could do it with just supervision for the planning. I hate to give up a whole year, but I'm sure SM and SMs are exhausted, there's no doubt about that!
