Some start their stories with the conflict laid down on the opening scene... flashbacks may follow but make them brief and critical to the story itself... while some authors build up their climax until the very last scene... Just try to keep in mind that the opening lines should catch the attention of the reader... so make it interesting and exciting at the same time. Good luck, and salamat* for the call!
