Two contests in one!!! A new form of poetry every month. Round 9: The Pleiades |
The tempest withdrew from our bogged shore, and we ventured outside to behold the sea floor, Naked of water, exposed its contour. What little we had just moments before, lay destroyed and dispersed throughout our bogged shore. As the tempest departed into the night, the sky revealed a startling sight. A massive moon; an omniscient light, a magnified deity brooding in height. too inspired to hear the tide shift, too entranced to feel the air lift, We were swept into a furious blight. The tempest returned beneath the moons wholly light. |
