Hi,

I recently got a new member of my family, he is a dachund and he is 6 months old. His name is Schnitzel. But I just can't get him to stop barking. The only time he is quiet is when I play with him or pay attention to him, it seems like he might be doing it for attention. We have another dog a 7 year old rottweiler and he can be silent when she pays attention to him as well, but she's been sick lately and needs plenty of rest to try and get better which we are hoping she does. I don't know how to stop him from barking as this seems to be for attention. What can I do?
