2. Butterflies are neat, thought 9 year old Kimberly. Just then, one landed on her nose and began speaking.

3. “There’s a major malfunction with the system, Sir.” The overworked technician reported anxiously over the phone. “What should we do?”

4. Marjorie poured another cup of coffee and looked out the kitchen window across the wide desolate prairie. A note from her husband sat on the table, held in place by the saltshaker. “He should have been back by now”, she whispered to herself. She was beginning to worry.
