My bad habit grosses some people out
But I just can't get rid of it
I do it when I'm nervous,
Bored, tired, and anytime at all.
It makes a loud sound
And the people around me cringe
I just laugh and say
"Sorry if it bugs you."
All I'm doing in cracking my knuckles.
I first heard,
"Don't do it, you'll get...
Arthritis."
But that didn't stop me.
Now I hear, it prevents it!
So to those who find it appauling,
Try it sometime.
You're preventing something
That won't come in handy later!
