I would like to see the rating system revised. At the moment it is an overall score.
I would prefer a separate rating for plot, grammar, character, prose, style, etc.
This will give more specific feedback about what is wrong with a piece. Obviously an average can be calculated for an overall rating.
Also, I would like to be able to hide the rating on my work until a minimum number of reviews have been received, or keep it hidden.
I suspect that any reviewer that reads the item, after it already has an average rating, is influenced by the rating and tends to score the same or higher. This pushes the average of
the ratings higher until everything hovers around four and becomes meaningless.
