I'm a bit confused. Not necessarily from your point of view, but in general, how are prologues info dumping? Or, rather, how do those arguments run? From what you say it almost seems like people dislike prologues because they bear the name, "prologue," and not because of anything substantial. That is, from what you say, it souds like if one were to call the prologue, "chapter one," and move all the other chapters up one, then those nay-sayers would be happy. I'm pretty sure this isn't what you're saying, though, which is why I ask. |
