Writer's Fallout Shelter

Well as harsh as the comments I recieved were there was a few telling ones. One writer and parent of two pre teen boys said "My boys would love this book. I wouldn't let them read it, but they would love it."

I write what I like, what I want to read and what I feel is lacking in the genre. I can't write to please other writers because I would just end up stalling myself out. It is great to get comments from the other side of the fence though. Thank goodness for this site!! I must admit I felt a little ganged up on for a couple of hours - but I know who I am, I know my work is solid and I know it will sell eventually.

So in answer to one writer's comment of "This is really violent. Will it..."
I flashed her a big grin and replied, "Yeah, it's only going to get worse."
