New Windows Popping Up Everywhere!!

Hello!
I am a newbie here on WDC, but one thing I've noticed is that every time I click on a link or start a search query, WDC seems to open up a new window. I have no web technological know-how, but I believe this is one of the only sites out there that does this. It gets kinda cumbersome, and before I know it, I have like 7 Internet Explorer windows open, and they're all to WDC. I'm guessing there is some way to streamline this site, but, like I said, I'm not fixing, I'm only suggesting.
