I often find myself laying my stories unintentionally. It is weird, because I'll go write a story with no intention of sending a message. I'll go back and re-read it and find a strong instance of a message throughout. Perhaps this is evidence for Freudian psychology, perhaps it is just easy to find a message in just about anything.
