Well, don't get me wrong I loved Voyager. Btw, I sport a Starfleet Academy Class ring. Also in my opinion you are probably right in the first three seasons Janeway was trying to be a female version of a non-playboy Kirk.

Ya got me on the Sisko thing, can't top that. 7 of 9 definately beats Data on any day.

I don't even want to talk about Archer. Have you seen any of the episodes of Star Trek New Voyages? It is an internet series with Paramount's full blessing. It's the self-proclaimed "Fourth Season" of the TOS. Just go straight to the Sulu episode that just came out. Then look at the others.

This is a top-knotch production. But again, it is a "continuation" of TOS.

Another subject: Colonel Carter is taking command of Atlantis. Should be fascinating. Indeed.
