I heard that! LOL *Laugh*

Now come on! Seven of Nine is terrific, but did you have to compare her to Data!
Data tried to be human, and he even had a daughter, Lal.
Even those with icy cold hearts can't resist how cute his relationship was with his cat, Spot. Riker got scratched by Spot. Geordi didn't like the experience of Spot, and Spot made Worf sneeze.

As for, what was it, "Galactic Gigolo Kirk"... OK, that was funny, I'll have to admit. I emailed that to some of my friends. *Bigsmile*
I dont' think that Janeway would have been the only one who was nice to Seven of Nine -- If Kirk were the captain then, I'm sure he would have been nice to her too. *Bigsmile*

Seriously, Kirk always got his ship and crew out of any Jam. He wasn't afraid of being brave and breaking a few rules along the way too.

He did an awesome job in Episode 25, This Side of Paradise. He was all alone on the ship, with the rest of the crew -- including Spock -- frolicking down on the planet with the spores. He alone was able to come up with the plan to save his ship and crew.

LOL As a kid, I always thought Kirk was a little paranoid -- he wouldn't go anywhere without his doctor by his side. *Laugh*

You can't beat the better FX in the later Star Trek shows -- TNG and Voyager. *Smile*

"Felis catus is your taxonomic nomenclature,

An endothermic quadruped, carnivorous by nature;

Your visual, olfactory, and auditory senses

Contribute to your hunting skills and natural defenses.
I find myself intrigued by your sub-vocal oscillations,

A singular development of cat communications

That obviates your basic hedonistic predilection

For a rhythmic stroking of your fur to demonstrate affection.
A tail is quite essential for your acrobatic talents,

You would not be so agile if you lacked its counterbalance.

And when not being utilized to aid in locomotion

It often serves to illustrate the state of your emotion.
Oh Spot, the complex levels of behavior you display

Connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array;

And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend,

I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend. "~~Data's "Ode to Spot"
