Actors, actresses, movies, TV -- It's the 'Golden Globe' of Writing.Com! Quill Nominee |
Yes, I absolutely agree with Verm -- play scripts, movie scripts... In fact, it's similar, yet a fresh and new idea as well. ![]() Citizen Cane would be a terrific place to start. I would also keep in mind "12 Angry Men", "Braveheart" and "Casablanca." For some fun, how about "Planet of the Apes", "Gremlins", "or "Jurassic Park." Other interesting choices might be "Air Force One", "The Grapes of Wrath", "Dances With Wolves", or "Cast Away." As far as TV...I remember that there were some really great monologues in the Buffy series. "Lost" might be a gem of a script to analyze. The older shows might work best too, such as "Little House on the Prairie", "Bonanza", "The Wonder Years", "Alien Nation" and "MASH." For some fun, maybe "Hogan's Heroes", or "WKRP in Cincinnati" might work. ![]()
