Hi Ariana! Thanks for your interest in this contest! The review is for the whole item; and I intentionally chose a longer one because this inaugural round is almost three weeks long. I'm trying to feature longer pieces that most contests don't support... but if it seems like the contest rounds are too short after a couple rounds, I'll consider revising the contest timeline. As far as the review goes, the specific content is up to you. You can do a broad overview of the entire piece, or focus in more detail and more specifically on a specific chapter or few chapters. At the end of the round, it's the judge and author's job to pick the feedback they feel is the best... and it could be of either type. I would encourage you to read the whole item if at all possible... but if you can't, there's nothing wrong with focusing on a specific part of it. As far as which part to focus on (if you're thinking of taking that route), I'd suggest e-mailing the author and asking if there's a particular section of his work he'd prefer feedback on. Hope this helps. Please let me know if I can clarify anything further.
