Also, I wouldn't take it personally if people read the first few chapters and then stop. It might be that they enjoyed your novel so far, but didn't want to commit that much time to it. A whole novel would take a very long time to review well, perhaps they felt that the comments they made for the first few chapters would apply to the rest of the novel.
