A woman knows the hidden ways
into the hearts of wayward men.

enticing them with silken words
to gaze upon the face of muse,
arousing them to greater ways.

The man she loves no more will roam;
both web and light she coaxes him
to bloom for her, and her alone.

This man will risk roads once unknown,
as a sailor braves wind and wave,
for that is where his heart doth be.

A lover knows the open sea
welcomes the ones who embrace fate,
as woman's arms encompass him.
