Two Shall Become One Poetry Contest

First, I want to thank all of you for entering. I do wish to explain that of the nine entriesnly five followed the guidelines completely. This cause a bit of a conundrum because a couple of the disqualified pieces were excellent! However, rules are rules, guidelines are guidelines, and I did have three that stood out. So, with no further ado:
