Fountain of Knowledge

So, I'm by no means foreign the concept of drinking, though for me heavy drinking is more than one over the course of a year. But what I'm not familiar with is wines. I enjoy a decent sweet white wine or a blush every now and then, but have no idea what any of them are called.

So I need help with wine names. I need something that's not too expensive ($20-30 a bottle), red or white though I'd prefer red, that's kind of smooth and sweet. Not a dry wine. Brand name or type.

And, something I could buy in a convenience or grocery store. That's my hinderance #2: in Utah, anything with higher than a 3% or so alcohol content is only available in state liquor stores, so I don't know what one might find on their normal grocery store shelf in other states, just that it would be a much wider selection.
