Hm... in what I planned as a trilogy novel, the REAL plot won't reveal itself until the middle of Book 2... n_n; But I guess if we're talking about the normal, one-shot novel, I guess after around 25-30% of the novel's length? Even though it all depends on your style. If you start too early, you might have to keep your solution interesting. On the other hand, if you start it late, your readers might get bored... Personally, I prefer the previous. *Pthb*
