Own your words. Randomly asking someone if they "create characters like mirrors", and then saying "well, that's not very original, but at least you have stability" didn't seem like a joke at all. It came out of nowhere as unsolicited criticism. If you want to criticize yourself, go ahead, but there's no need to randomly bring me into it.
