I write faster in first person. All of my novels start out in first, then, once I'm grounded and know what I am writing, I go back and change the whole thing to third.

And, you have all just given me an idea I never thought of. I'm writing a series of three novellas for NaNo. Each of them will have a different MC. It might be cool if they were all in first person.
