Group email capability request

If this is an option currently, I'm not aware of how to do it but here goes --

I would like to see the ability to email only certain status levels in a group. That could limit the need for additional groups. Example: For both my groups I have a membership group plus a separate group for staff just so I can email with them separately. If I could just email them as say -- all group members with status 13 or higher (or perhaps I could choose which levels) - then it would eliminate the need for the other group entirely (in my case at least). I also have a certain status level for review group members etc. and this would really help with communication with certain individuals without having to email the entire group.
