I had no idea that Texas Chainsaw Massacre was based on reality. You know though, Leatherface like Freddy, Jason, or Michael doesn't really seem to die either. Well in the ones I've seen anyway. I take it a story with a psychopathic cannibal is just a thriller then? That's the only kind of horror I've tried to take a "stab" at. I really hope to write a horror with other things. The ideas just haven't come to me yet. Which is one of the reasons I'm part of this group. Maybe I can get the inspiration for really horrifying stories.
