I honestly try to get into historical romances but it ain't working for me. The book you're reading does sound interesting though.
As for me, I'm currently reading 'Rules of Attraction' by Bret Easton Ellis. His writing style gives one a headache...as in it comes in spurts and starts...like reading disjointed scenes and trying so hard to make them all fit, but the more you do, the more confused you get. Beneath it all though, there's the tone of young people desperately in need of help of some kind. It's an interesting read to say the least.
