Hi there Quaddy. Sounds like you have an interesting story idea. You could do a side character or being's background story. Maybe someone who is a part of that evil government. Look at it through a different scope than what your novel focuses on. Even if it's part of what you plan to write, if you look at it from someone else it will give you a different look and might make it easier when you write the similar time during nano.
