Congratulations Kristi Love!

I'm grateful that I have been able to meet you and I've already been blessed in so many ways by the time I've known you. You are truly a positive and caring person. Your writing has blown me away and your strength in being able to remain sober for a year is a shining example that others can see and take hope in.
Your writing skill is the way I know you the most and it's cool that you live in the same town I was born and raised in all those years ago. As I celebrate my birthday today I can think of no where else I'd rather be than here in the WDC and in this place now.
I have known others who have succumbed to the ravages of addiction and I've heard the blood curdling screams of the withdrawal symptoms from drugs and alcohol. It's something I will not soon forget and this was during my youthful years. My biggest fear growing up in the environment I did was ending up in the same place but by the grace of God and experiences that convinced me early on that that path was not for me, I was able to avoid it after I got out on my own.
You, Kristi Love, are an amazing lady and I am grateful I have had the chance to get to know you in this medium and maybe one day we can meet face to face and have a piece of pie and Dr. Pepper with the better half in tow.
Congratulations Kristi and I am proud of you for standing and stepping out of the gates and into the freedom of sobriety one day at a time. I have one more thing I would like to give to you but it will be tomorrow (12-10-09) before I reveal it to you and others. Proud of you and I look forward to growing as friends on the WDC.
