Here I am to participate, even though I don't understand the genre well at all. I'm with Ari--does the madness have to make sense to the people caught up in it?

Ben's reply makes some sense to me, but on the other hand, the bizzaro stuff I've seen seems to like just having random weird things happen and then not having any resolution, like someone writing down their anchovy-driven dreams. So it does seem to me that quality might become one of the defining things about bizzaro, too.

But like I said, I have no clue about bizzaro; I can barely read it, let alone write it. I'm waiting for Alice to wander over...
