Absolute Horror Film Forum

Time to show my ignorance here, but I gotta tell ya, I haven't heard of any of those books. And I call myself a horror fan, the shame!! But maybe I'll check some of them out. I'm kinda a lazy reader, I do a ton of podiobooks (Scott Sigler, Jake Bible, Robert R. Best, and now i could go on all night.) I'm reading the 'Sookie Stackhouse novels now, ya know, the "True Blood" series. Not a bad read.

If you want some good horror, check out some of Jack Ketchum's stuff. Books and movies. "The Girl Next Door" was a brutal watch, if you haven't seen it, you shold look into it. "Red" (another Ketchum adaptation) wasn't bad either.

I agree, "Last House on the Left" was a pretty good remake, as was Friday the 13th. Did you see the "Nightmare on Elm St." remake? That was a total s**t bomb. I effin' hate Michael Bay. He f***ed up "Nightmare on Elm St." Although I did like his remake of TCM. (Texas Chainsaw Massacre)
