Welcome to Writing.Com, Kestrel. I too am a writing addict, as are most on the site. *Wink*

It can be overwhelming at first so be sure to ask questions when you need a bit of guidance. The members on Writing.Com are very willing to help. Start by posting some of your writing in your portfolio and then venture out to review when you've settled in a bit.

Oh, and there is coffee and chocolate cake in the back of the room if you need some sustenance while you write!
