Wasted Talent

27 years old, and I wrote some short stories about a decade ago. Then I enlisted and kept my work at home. Katrina hit while I was in basic training and I lost everything. Since then, I have been in a depressed slump and spent the last decade sitting in front of a blank Word Processor. I'm really hoping to finally get back on track, but I don't even know where to start.
