I think that X story is a bit more engaging to read, since there's a deeper storyline, and a mix of different genres. And I think X could go for another story in the sequel. It's considered a different and more darker side of your story.

I am sure 2 has the potential, You just need more support for it, and I am glad to help as well. However if you have the time for it, It should be really good, and best of all I think that X is the best.
