Genre Discussion: Stream of Consciousness
Ack! I'm a day late.

I blame it on having Monday off. Not that I minded having Monday off, but it made me forget yesterday was Wednesday. Which means tomorrow is Friday and....

...topic for the week - stream of consciousness.

And I am almost certain that I spelled consciousness wrong, and will not be spell-checking it to verify.

So...this is something I see more often in literary works, but very occasionally in genre fiction. I have a decent idea of what it is and what it means to me, I blog that way a lot. The question is (or rather, the questions are)

What does it mean to you?
Is it an effective literary device?
If it's only effective sometimes, when yes and when no?
Whatever else you can think of. Feel free to ramble *Wink*
