Belated B'day Excuses: 200 wd contest

Well, I was going to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset before I got ready to go. I sat down on the stone fireplace surround in my t-shirt and nothing else. HUGE mistake....I felt pain shooting into the back of my thigh where the cool stones should have provided relief. I shot up and looked to find a WASP doubled over in laughter (or pain, I am not as light as I used to be).

One swollen thigh (thank gawd for the near miss) plus a sponge soaked in vinegar could not stop the pain. The swelling now began to balloon up so I alternated with ice...but alas, I could no longer fit into the adorable outfit I was going to wear, and it was now so painful i did not want to distract from the festivities. Sorry, but I'm here now!!!
